Meet our Image Expert – Linda Arroz

With 25 years of experience in the fashion and lifestyle industry, Linda Arroz is a much sought-after image maker, known for providing winning solutions. Her makeovers have included Emmy-nominated producers, television news correspondents, and mothers of Olympic athletes. In 1997, she worked on "Women of the Airwaves," a special segment creating new images for six ABC-affiliate anchorwomen for Caryl & Marilyn Real Friends. When Joan Lunden made her pilot, the producers immediately called Linda to create the makeover segment. One of her most notorious fashion challenges was teaming up with Beverly Hills hair stylist Jose Eber to make over the whole town of Boring, Oregon.

Linda’s body of work includes styling over 100 national television commercials and producing fashion layouts and ads for numerous women's magazines. She has worked with a variety of celebrities including Claudia Schiffer and Marla Maples.

As marketing director and spokesperson for Carole Little, a well-known California fashion designer, Linda represented Carole Little on HSN (Home Shopping Network) and Q2 (the former upscale shopping channel for QVC).  As the former Editor-in-Chief of Big Beautiful Woman (BBW) and Maternity Fashion & Beauty magazines, Linda was also the spokesmodel for For You from Spiegel, a division of the Spiegel catalog.

She has also worked with a diverse group of fashion retailers and educational institutions including the California Mart, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Brooks College, Image Communications International, Nordstrom, Woodward and Lathrop, Robinson's, Foley's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Jordon Marsh, Bullock's Woman, A & S, Parisian, Kaufmann's, Dillard's, Famous Barr, Meier & Frank, Lane Bryant, and The Learning Annex.

Along the way, Linda developed a course for American Intercontinental University (AIU) in Los Angeles called Introduction to Fashion for Television, Print, and Retail.  She taught a creative communications course at the University of Oklahoma called "Networking for Success." She is currently a member of Fashion Group International and serves on the advisory boards of Brooks College and AIU.

Linda is a member of Fashion Group International and a Friend of The Explorers Club. She is currently writing a motivational book entitled IF YOU CAN WEAR THAT, YOU CAN BE THAT.
